we are shaped & fashioned by what we love
I do, Little Rus, of course! There are so few new editorials that have the sparkle of the old ones. In the '90s they still had that quality. It's only natural, it was the era of the supermodels. :)
I love looking back on old editorials and save lots of european Vogues, which are my favorite. They are magical and as Ada points out, the photos of the supermodels were soooo gorgeous...p.s. thank you for the post below, one can never have enough undercover first aid!xo Mary Jo
Great post :) I really like your blog, maybe you want to follow each other?www.fromanedge.blogspot.com
You know what I feel? That this editorial could be from this year, with all this retro/vintage looks we're seeing these days...And yes, it's a gorgeous dress! That first photo is simply dreamy!
This is such a beautiful editorial... and I agree with both comments here! The era of the supermodels was a time of such celebration for the beauty of a woman's true body. I feel that their bodies were possibly the most stunning of all - they were tall and thin, but not too thin... there were still some womanly curves! :) I just adore this girly bow and that sweet little pug. Thank you by the way for your kind comments on my Italy video. It really means so much.xoRachel
What a classic! I used to love Karen Mulder and I loved the fact that back then they still celebrated the more womanly models. Fab dress, I adore the color and shape.
Wow, that dress...is simply breathtaking.
Even though this editorial is from 1991 I swear I can see some styles in the present day that resemble it. Keep the colour but chop the length of the skirt; keep the enhanced tulip style et voila (I think I saw this on ASOS!)www.styleonthecouch.com
Love red such a strong colour.Gorgeous dress! Thanks for your comments on my blog!Abigail xWww.abigailsplace8.blogspot.com
So beautiful. I love vintage Vogue photos like this.
