Apart from all the obvious, there’s one goal worth getting to or remaining in good shape - THE SHORTS. Shorts have been a part of almost every fashion collection for spring/summer 2011. From super tiny (it’s almost like you want to double check if shorts are actually present or have been forgotten at home (hello!!!! shorts? are you there??? oh, yes, here you are…) to more relaxed and classic – they were created to suit any woman. Obviously I wouldn’t dare wearing the micro creations, not only because I am not 18 any more, or have legs like Giselle’s, but also because it’s just not me… A micro part of my inner ego does wish I could pull the look off or had the legs to die for, but… There’s a reality and there’s a dream and they don’t always match.
On the other, more realistic note, I would gladly wear something like Roland Mouret, Nina Ricci, Sonia Rykiel or Moschino Cheap & Chic designs. Plus a pair of chunky platforms and something simple on top, like a ribbed tank or a silk shirt. I think, mentally I am ready for summer now, just need a touch of golden tan and some bright nail polish.
What about you? Would you feel like wearing shorts and show off your gorgeous legs this summer? What style would you choose? If you feel like sharing, I’d love to hear your opinion.
