How to create reverse bun hair tutorial / Elle Argentina December 2011 / fashioned by love
Ok, first things first – I finally got myself to pinterest. I know, I’m probably the last one in a queue of people who didn’t realise how fabulous pinterest is, but hey, better late than never. And boy have I been pinning and liking like there’s no tomorrow…

How to create reverse bun hair tutorialOh yes… I find it quite relaxing, actually, to browse beautiful images and choose the ones that take my breath away for one reason or another and then keep everything.

The wonderful world of pinterest has indeed been very inspirational, but the most important thing so far was finding the tutorial I’m posting below as well as discovering The Beauty Department – a wonderful website created by Lauren Conrad & Co. Of course, I’ve heard about it before, but never took notice of the actual name…

What can I say? Shame on me! I’ve missed out big time (here I can use the pinterest “Last in a queue” story from above, so to save time, just re-read the first paragraph if you like).

Last night, while browsing and intensely pinning images, I came across a hair tutorial that I’ve been looking for since posting about Autumn 2011 make-up and hair trends

That Carolina Herrera reverse bun was so beautiful, but so impossible to recreate… Until yesterday.

Yesterday made things clear and simple. See it yourself, try it at home and do browse The Beauty Department for more ideas.

  1. So beautiful! If only I hadn't cut my hair into a bob. :) But I'm saving it for later. My hairstyle suffers permanent changes, I'm very experimental in that department. :) Hope you're having a wonderful weekend, my dear! xo
