Natalia Vodianova in W 2004

I really wish I knew the story behind this editorial from W magazine. Have you noticed how Natalia’s expressions change from curious to bored to tearful? Sweet, a bit awkward at times, almost like a fawn, or a little girl playing dress-up with her mum’s clothes.

  1. I think even more amazing is that she already has 3 kids!! Unbelievable how young she looks on these lovely pictures.

    1. Well, back then she only had one... :) But I agree - she hardly changed since then. x

  2. I could easily picture myself wearing the tops and necklaces in the first image...beautiful editorial! Natalia, I hope you had a good w-e, that the dentist appointment was brief and easy, and that you indulged in the glossy pages of the magazines (one of my favourite things to cheer me up...) Have a good week!

    1. I like those too. :) And the shoes. I find it hard to believe it's 2004 because the wedges hasn't aged at all.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend and am wishing you a lovely sunny week!

  6. Not only does Natalia wear every garment well but she has an expression for every garment. It takes a lot of talent to be able to do something like that!

    1. You are so right, she is very special. I find it a little bit sad that she doesn't do many editorials these days, I'd love to see her in Vogue again. x

  7. You are right! It does remind me a bit of instagram effect (and I also didn't realise it was her at first!)

It does remind me of a little girl playing dress up as well actually

  9. It's like sadness in her eyes. Very beautiful spread. However, it doesn't make me happy. HaHa
