Michael Kors Resort 2013 look for less

MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION RESORT 2013 NEW YORK 6/4/2012

Those who’ve read my blog for a while know that I adore Michael Kors. Sometimes I may not write about his collections,  but there are always, always pieces and looks that I save and admire.

This particular outfit from Resort 2013 is one of those I love. I think it’s about the gorgeous golden brocade lace and the silhouette that slims down the top part so beautifully.

A great thing about Michael Kors designs is that many can be used as inspiration and re-created from less expensive clothes and accessories. Since the sales season began I’ve been busy browsing for the best of the best until I found my perfect trio below.

So if you have fallen in love with Michael Kors Resort or been looking for a special outfit, this might be the one to consider.

  1. Recreating a designer outfit is challenging (I sometimes tried to, but gave up), but you did a wonderful job. Wishing you a sunny weekend, my dear! xo

  2. You just posted my favourite piece from his resort collection. I fell so flat for it that I no longer remember anything else from that collection!

Do I want to know what the real thing costs? ;-)

PS. Your garden sounds wonderful. I often wish we had a dog. I'd like to have a dog and Wellies to make life even more beautiful. Maybe one day.

    1. It is my favourite of them all, too. Plus there was another one, also in gold lace that I liked. The rest was nice, but not so much me. :)
No idea what the real outfit would cost either. I am thinking around £2000 mark, so mine is less then a pair of MichaelKors flats.
Hope you will get a chance to have a dog, maybe when the kids are older and can help.
Thank you for your sweet comment about the garden. It's actually pretty small, size of a large room, but it's lovely, a bit of everything.

    1. For me that look was the best one out of the entire collection. Hense I really wanted to recreate a less expensive version of it. :) x
