Ever since I went to school I always thought of 1 September as a start of the new year. I still remember the excitement and butterflies in the stomach, a bunch of Aster flowers that my grandma would bring a night before, a freshly ironed school uniform - chocolate brown scratchy wool dress, white apron, and huge cloud-like bows bouncing in my hair. It always felt special, although the reality never took too long to kick in, with all the tests, home work and inevitable marks.
It was September 1998 when the first issue of Vogue Russia was launched. One of the editorials called “My Favourite Big Sister” featured 18 years old Gisele Bundchen photographed by Perry Ogden.
