Oh, yes, I am going for the biggest names now... Who would have thought that I will have guts to try and create a look inspired by one of the most exclusive fashion houses out there and yet, here we are.
I've always loved this Bottega collection. I wrote about it, blogged about editorials featuring two of the dresses and generally never stopped dreaming of discovering one of these pieces on sale, some day, some where...
In a mean time I give you my idea of Bottega Veneta on a budget - as I am typing the words I am starting to turn beetroot red for combing "budget" and "Bottega Veneta" in one sentence feels really, really strange and wrong. (I am saying this in case Tomas Maier ever discovers this blog and doesn't like this word combination either).
I know how special Bottega is. I was lucky to experience it a little bit. Unfortunately, it really is a luxury brand, which means that in monetary value this particular outfit would cost the wearer about £8000. I managed to get it down to £460 (should you wish to reduce it by another £100, try KG Brooklyn courts or KG Hibiscuss t-bar sandals, both are around £45 at the moment and although they aren't as ideal for reproducing the look, they are beautiful and will be a joy to have). Now I am going to take a bow and leave you to judge the result for yourself.
