Helena Christensen in Marie Claire 1993

Helena Christensen in Dolce&Gabbana menswear inspired suit by Jacques Olivar in Marie Claire August 1993 editorial
Some may say that the Summer classics editorial from the August 1993 issue of Marie Claire isn't the best choice to present in a middle of winter, but I couldn't really switch back to the season of cold and clouds since I posted the white suit of my dreams last Friday, no matter how hard it rained outside. and despite the fact that the heating stayed on and my body had to be protected from the elements with a creative mixture of layers (as I am saying "layers" my mind leprechaun comes out, takes a bow and mimics with a mischievous smile: "Onions have layers. Ogres have layers. You get it? We both have layers". It's the Shrek thing, in case you don't know.)

As soon as the bi-polar chit-chat is over, I stare at my screen, that first photo of Helena  sitting in a chair, the lines, the expression, the menswear inspired off-white Dolce & Gabbana linen suit, the nails painted something deliciously dark, her fingers wrapped around the back as if touching a guitar...

All I can think of is that I would love to have this image in a beautiful frame like a work of art, so I could look at it over and over again.

Who cares about the seasons in the presence of something so timeless...
