Bottega Veneta Essence aromatique

Nine d'Urso by Bruce Weber in Bottega Veneta Essence Aromatique perfume campaign
A week hasn't passed since I showed some interest in Dolce when I heard about new Bottega Veneta fragrance, Essence aromatique that one of my most cherished brands just released. The new perfume constructed by Michel Almairac from the finest essences is like a child of the world - the new creation combines the notes of Italian bergamot and Ukrainian coriander as the opening scent followed by Turkish rose and Indonesian patchouli making the heart of the fragrance and Australian sandalwood blended into the base.

The exquisite effect is a feminine and fresh formula that resembles a breeze and would make a perfect spring fragrance for adding the air of sophistication to the upcoming season.

"The primary inspiration was the freshness of a summer day and the tranquility of a seaside experience, from the warmth of the sun, to a gentle breeze and the unimaginably captivating infusion of the sea. I wanted to create an unexpected, crisp cologne that lingers like the essence of understated confidence from the woman who wears it." said Tomas Maier about Essence aromatique.

The beautiful summer campaign features Nine d'Urso, the daughter of Ines de la Fressange, who became the face of the original Bottega fragrance and whom you will also recognise as a girl from the Parisian Chic book.

Essence Aromatique is available in 50ml and 90ml bottles priced at £58 and £78 respectively. For a complete feeling of luxury, you can also treat yourself to a shower gel and body lotion.

The new collection is available at Harrods, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman MarcusBergdorf Goodman and Douglas Parfumerie

  8. Although I should never admit this, I have often chosen my fragrances based on the bottles they come in - but with designers releasing so many beautiful packaged perfurmes in recent years, it makes decisions based on packaging more and more difficult! I love the timeless elegance of the Bottega Veneta bottle - although I would expect no less from them.

    1. Oh, I understand completely!!! I can be tempted by a bottle, too. And even worse, I can dismiss a fragrance if the bottle doesn't look right. It's so difficult to get the perfect match these days! I really like the look and sound of this one, the simplicity of the bottle, frosted glass and tiny butterfly. :)
