Inspired by Pantone: yellow freesia

French Revue de Modes No. 22 Spring/Summer 2013
"Now we are having beautiful warm windless weather that is very beneficial... The sun, a light that for lack of a better word I can only call yellow, bright sulfur yellow, pale lemon gold. How beautiful yellow is!"
Vincent Van Gogh

Continuing my Pantone series with Freesia, a vibrant, happy shade of yellow that may not always be the easiest one to wear, but is surely very beautiful to look at. I picked it from the Spring 2014 Colour report this month because this bright and gleaming hue that was once associated with gold always reminds me of daffodils and the daffodils make me think of Easter.

Vera Wang Spring 2014

As usual I have created a little list of pretty thing for you and I to adore. The ones I particularly love and suggest are the perfume (it smells like sunshine, warm, soft, light, more fruity than floral), the burst necklace, gorgeous yellow dress, Moschino scarf and Repetto flats (the two are on sale right now), the bag and Max Mara midi skirt. Frankly, I'd happily take everything, but am doing my best to appear calm and reserved.

  6. I do like looking at this color but find it a little intimidating to wear. Perhaps in little doses it can be worked in to my wardrobe. Happy Easter and enjoy your weekend Natalia!

  11. Меня заинтересовал аромат от Hermes, хочется и на себе ощутить его теплоту и нежность) Красивая подборка нарядов желтых оттенков, сразу же захотелось облачится в какой-нибудь наряд цвета солнца:)
