a visual memory of the first encounters with fashion and its faces. If you look closely, the girls who make it big today (or become the ones we feel connected to) have features of somebody we are already familiar with. None of them look like twins to the original, of course, but do possess certain similarities that our brain picks from the crowd.
For me, Melina Gesto whom I have recently written about, is a little bit like Gisele, the baby Gisele, to be precise. The feeling, the comparison, is rather difficult to describe, let alone highlight the exact points of resemblance, but the voice is there and so are the hair, the honeyed skin, the sparkling eyes, facial features and insanely stunning physic.
This is one of the editorials that makes me think of both models simultaneously. Gisele, as the iconic face, and Melina as somebody who has everything to become one (hot ticket).
