DELPOZO... The most perfect, most anticipated, most fascinating and beautiful of them all. I missed the livestream, but even the photos were enough to take my breath away.
The ready-to-wear or... collectable couture classics?
The attention to detail, the tiny touches, the execution... Each garment is simply a work of art, a sculpture, but the wearable one. And although it is hard to comprehend that this collection, just like many others, was, to a degree, inspired by sportswear, it really is true... And all it takes to make the magic elixir is to give a man like Josep Font some sporty silhouettes and colours to play with, the art work of Nils Udo (the flower on the yellow dress is just like one of his creations!), and Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka as sources of inspiration... then he will do the rest by presenting a stunning one-of-a-kind collection that will keep you dreaming for days and months to come.
And no, I am not going to pretend that this was the only collection I liked, but this was the one I loved and couldn't forget and so I decided to talk about the rest as the time goes by... Later on. For now, I just want to be lost in reverie...
