I think I have a disease. It's called "the love of a snake skin print". At times I don't even see how much I am affected by it. Then I look back and notice that the beautiful pattern crawled into quite a few outfits and wish lists of mine.
Take this look, for example. I swore not to use snakeskin print shoes that somehow became a feature of two previous fashion week inspired posts. Then I realised that a part of the dress was, surprise-surprise, resembling the python scales.
It became clear that no matter how hard I try to avoid the exotics, they will, sooner or later, become a part of my life (that began in the year of the snake, actually).
But back to the outfit below... It was all about the coat. I fell in love with it a while ago and finally decided to feature on the blog because Frida Giannini just sent something very similar down the runway as a part of Gucci Spring/Summer 2015 collection... Finding the other elements was relatively easy - plus I do love the process of styling so much I could do it 24/7, really.
Of course, I simply had to include a bottle of Knot, the latest Bottega Veneta perfume released a few days ago. Visually this is my favourite so far, I think. Fragrance-wise, I still need to test it, but the notes sound beautiful.
So what do you think of this ensemble? Would you wear it?
