Big news from Gucci

via fashioned by love | Gucci's creative director Frida Giannini leaving the brand
It has been announced earlier today that Frida Giannini and Patrizio De Marco resigned from their positions at Gucci. Giannini who headed the brand for the last decade will be leaving in February 2015 after showing her Fall/Winter 2015 collection, whilst De Marco, now a former Gucci CEO, will depart in January. The couple didn't share any details regarding their decision to depart from one of the most iconic Italian fashion power houses.

Gucci hasn't chosen a new creative director yet, so we just have to wait and see.

  3. I must admit, far from being upset by this, I am very intrigued to see who will come next - Gucci has fallen off my list of favourites in recent years and I hope they will bring in someone fabulous to give the house new life. Although I may be the only one ;)

  5. Oh, that's major news. It will be interesting to see who is going to take over... not an easy role to take over.
