Issa chooses new creative director

Jamie O'Hare
Tonight Issa announced that Jamie O'Hare, the head of design since 2013, is now the brand's new creative director. What got me excited the most about the news is O'Hare's impressive CV: he was at Sportmax between 2001 and 2004 before heading off to Chloe where he spent almost seven years working for the brand during, what I think was, one of its best decades and eventually taking charge of the See by Chloe collections (again, the ones I've been most found of), then moving to Aubin & Wills and, a year later, Roberto Cavalli.

Now I cannot wait to see his version of Issa - it feels like it's going to be something rather special.

  1. I agree, he has a great deal of talent to bring to this label. I remember him at Sportmax, and loved his work!

  2. Issa is a brand I keep my eye on, and it will be interesting to see what O'Hare does :)

  3. I hadn't heard about this. It will be so interesting to see how he moves forward with the Issa brand. Have a lovely weekend!
