When it comes to London fashion I love to mix high end and high street, play with patterns and adopt a slightly mismatched and carefree attitude. Whilst being true to my sense of style (and self).
I also feel like I owe you an explanation about the missing umbrella... Well, first of all, using an umbrella in central London is a bit like trying to walk through the city with an elephant - you will, of course, get from A to B, but it will be very awkward, especially if you end up bumping into another person with a brolly (or a gigantic creature on a lead). To sum up - love the idea, particularly because I came across this sweet design, but won't be using it.
Besides, I chose to "wear" a pair of open-toe shoes, which means that my imaginary girl would end up getting a cab regardless of the weather. If she does get caught in the rain, there's always a scarf that can be worn in a million ways (and a lovely bubble bath (so very British to have a bath!) once she is back home).
May I also mention the beauty buys? Mainly the perfume - quintessentially English, but modern, too; the Get Up & Glow to make your skin look perfect, the body oil - all natural blend to help you relax, and the Butter London nail polish in Fash Pack - how appropriate!
