Outfit inspiration: NY fashion week

This season I am embracing the change and facing the reality of winter in New York. For several years I insisted that my imaginary girl wore shoes regardless of the temperatures. Then I thought about it, long and hard, and realised that being warm and rosy is a lot more stylish and chic than having a red nose and blue toes... As a result today's outfit has a pair of gorgeous boots and a beret. They are my winter staples, after all. Besides, the knee-high length is both one of the Fall/Winter 2014-15 trends and a classic, so worth an investment.

I thought of everything you might need for the day - from the clothes, accessories and make-up, to the snacks and even most indulgent bubble bath to relax and unwind - simple, streamlined and luxurious.

  1. Such a dreamy set! I need a beret in my life. ;)

  2. Wowo, gret set, love it!

  3. If ever there were a year to face the reality of winter in New York, this is it - the weather has been bitterly cold and snowy, and I suspect anyone who has worn shoes to NYFW has suffered for it. Besides which, I think this is my favourite look that your imaginary girl has worn yet. It's practical but still beautiful, particularly that Michael Kors dress!

  4. I love the camel sweater and that amazing black belted coat! Great picks Miss!

  5. That Michael Kors dress and Altuzarra coat are just dreamy!

  6. Yes, you have got it to a tee! This is the perfect NYC look! Too bad we need all of these layers! Just make sure those boots are waterproof!
    Great job!
