Spring shopping trends 2015 / shopping / denim trend spring/summer 2015 / building classic wardrobe must-haves
Think of transitional pieces right now and consider a denim dress. Wear it with suede, turtle-necks (or little neck scarf), floppy hat and knee-high boots to channel the 1970s vibe or add a classic coat and a pair of Mary Janes if you love the 1940s. Use as a light cover-up to layer over cropped cigarette trousers or a skirt (don't button it up - drape, leave the middle part open to show off the said skirt, trousers and top, and secure the entire ensemble with a belt - think Marni circa 2009-2010).

And when the summer is finally here - embrace the beauty of denim by pairing it with the brown or red suede sandals, sweet wedges or pretty ballerinas.

It really is such a fantastic wardrobe addition that I am tempted to refer to this dress as a must-have. Can be yours for less than £40 and available exclusively on-line.

  3. Yes, the chambray dress is such a stable. I have one that is a shirt dress style that I love to wear with an ankle strap sandal. Love it!

  7. I must admit, the denim dress is a piece of clothing I've never truly understood. I had one as a teenager and always felt compared to layer something over it because such a long piece of denim on its own felt odd. Still, the cut of this is lovely.
