Last December I was asked a question that made me re-think my day affairs and hobbies, dig into the deeper layers of my mind and rediscover a few passions I somehow ignored. And although it took me by surprise, I realised that styling was one of the loves that made me truly happy. It really was a revelation for I am not a big fan of shopping, but... I adore clothes... With passion. I love to play with ideas, little details, colours, textures, fantasies - everything! And as sad as it may sound to some, I am somewhat addicted to clothes and the stories they create and hold.
The endless thoughts, trips into my past and the fact that styling at Motilo won me a pair of Malone Souliers shoes finally transformed into an idea of styling a "wish I was wearing" look for a daily blog feature, but since the life was a touch too busy and complicated and I wasn't quite sure how to present the new addition on Fashioned by Love, I let it sit and marinate for a while... Until the time was right.
Well, the moment has finally come in a form of a totally new and independent blog solely focused on looks and outfit inspirations - all styled by me and published daily. I called it Look-a-Porter or, in other words, "look to wear"...
After testing the waters (and my ability to stay on schedule and maintain two separate blogs) for a few days, I would like to make an official announcement that Look-a-Porter is now live and buzzing. At the moment it's focused on day and occasion wear, holiday outfits, looks for less and styling trends and has already got a few articles to get you started.
It would be amazing if you could stop by and share your thoughts, follow and support my newly born via Bloglovin' and tell your friends about the site if you think it's worth it. Hope to see you there!
And in case you are wondering - Fashioned by Love is not going anywhere, it's too precious and special to me, so I will simply be dealing with two "babies" from now on.
