Over the past few days I've been dreaming of knitwear... Sweaters, scarves... Well, mainly sweaters, from the ribbed ones that cling and make my shoulders look super delicate to the soft and oversizes deliciousness that feels like a hug. Frankly, judging by the length of my sweaters wish list and in comparison to the dream files for shoes and lingerie, I am pretty sure, knits are very much an addiction... Good thing I sort of know where to stop, at least sometimes.
But back to the scrumptiousness of wearable yarns. I thought I had it all figured out: something from here, something from there, a very special something..
Well, I was wrong because everything crumbled after I saw the Lemaire collection for Uniqlo that I've been anxiously waiting since March. Previously described by Christophe as "pieces that you need, pieces that you want" the collection exceeded my expectations and got me picturing the moment of finally holding one of the sweaters, wrapping into a huge cardigan and burying my face into cashmere softness of a scarf. And then... there are also dresses, and trousers, and wrap skirts, and coats. Pretty much the entire autumn wardrobe you will ever need, or want...
Love Lemaire... He even picked the perfect hue of green... my favourite of them all.
Mark your calendars - the collection will be available online on 2 October.
