Do you remember your first fashion campaigns? Mine came from the pages of Cosmo in mid 1990s and occupied a space in my mind that, until then, remained vacant, alien to the entire concept of mesmerising imagery with an ability to influence our decision to buy things.

Anais Anais was one my favourite. I loved the dreaminess of it, the powdery floral fantasy for a girl who loves romantic novels and roses. Seeing the first shot of Cacharel Spring/Summer 2016 brought back the memory of that campaign and the drawing of the rose petals wrapped around the simple white bottle. And from that moment I couldn't help falling in love with the entire collection and sensation of tenderness, old friendships and new beginnings it evoked.

  2. Yes, I remember the campaign very well! I loved the soft dreamy ads but never managed to get hooked to the fragrance itself.

  3. I remember this Anais Anais campaigns far more vividly than I realized - it's amazing how images stick with us even when we aren't thinking about them consciously!

    1. Ah, so the post must have brought some memories! :) Perfumes always do that to me. And yes, apparently they still sell it, only the bottle is not nearly as charming as it used to be... :(
