the exercise would be, I would definitely choose "pure": for pure quality, pure luxury, pure beauty and pure magic. It was not just a special collection, but the one out of fashion, competition and time. The way the clothes moved was enchanting, but also made it easy to forget a kind of skill it would take to achieve the lightness and the execution of each piece.
Ironically, any fashion show made of more than 30 looks gives me a feeling of tiredness and monotony. With Hermes, I could not get enough.
And then there were the pleated dresses made of yards of pleated silk that gave such a sensation of flight, joy and subtle sensuality as the girls walk down the runway. Perhaps, this is what "allure" would look like when embodied in fabric.
It was absolutely unforgettable... A fantasy that may never come true, but will never stop me dreaming of either.
