Laetitia... the work of art

Last week ended on a nostalgic note thinking about Laetitia Casta - a perfect moment to share one of the editorials from the late 1990s that really resonated with me for two simple reasons - I love Vermeer and I adore Laetitia - then, now, forever...  One of those moments when fashion and art exist in the most soul-touching synergy that transforms 1998s Isabel Marant, Christian Lacroix, Dries van Noten and Olivier Theykens into timelessly beautiful treasures.

  1. Thank you for sharing this piece of fashionable art! I love Laetitia (behind her beauty there's so much more) and I love the Flaunders painters too. So beautiful! Baci, Coco et La vie en rose fashion blog - Valeria Arizzi

  4. The editorial is so beautiful, she looks amazing, in the second pic especially. Still dont get why she cut her hair, she is still gorgeous though but I prefer her with long hair. Kisses Natalia! xo

  5. Laetitia was on the cover of the first copy of Seventeen magazine that I ever read, borrowed from my childhood best friend's sister when I was just nine years old. She has epitomized beauty for me every since; it seems there is nothing she can't wear, no period in history where she wouldn't have fit in seamlessly. I absolutely adore this editorial.
