Ah, the very thought of adventure, the excitement of revisiting the dear and familiar places or discovering new worlds, the idea of adventure is a feeling of joy.

"Volez, Voguez, Voyagez". "Fly. Sail. Travel". The title of the latest Louis Vuitton exhibition sounded like an adventure, a gold ticket to explore the last 160 years of the elegant world conceived by Louis Vuitton who, aged 13, began his own journey by walking 290 miles from Anchay to Paris where he opened a box-making shop at Rue Neuve des Capucines in 1954. That's one story of a dreamer to remember!

Fly, sail, travel. To the Grand Palais (where Vuitton presented his trunks in 1900) if you can. And if not, take an imaginary two-minute journey around the world of Vuitton as a blog reader because I have a short video of event to share with you today.

For more details and booking information visit Louis Vuitton | Volez, Voguez, Voyagez. The exhibition is admission free and will run until 21 February 2016.

  3. It was an exhibit much like this one at the Musee Carnavalet that made me fall in love with Louis Vuitton. It's probably for the best I won't see the one - every time I've been to an LV exhibit, I've subsequently found myself making a purchase at their store...!
