manners, forget the British coolness and Russian superstitions, this is the time to dance a little dance, sing a little song and put on a prettiest dress. According to WWD Lanvin is close to signing the contract with the house new womenswear creative director and I couldn't have been happier about their choice.
Because the woman who may replace the darling and amazing Alber Elbaz is the equally wonderful Bouchra Jarrar whom I adore deeply. I talked about her on the blog (and even more - off the blog) as somebody very special, so naturally feel incredibly excited about her venture at Lanvin.
The house founded by a woman with a woman in the heart of it all again. Just like the good old times. Lets hope they make it happen, she accept the position, doesn't feel overwhelmed by running two houses simultaneously and producing minimum of six collections, two of which being haute couture, per year, makes us dream again and men - fall in love with a woman wearing Lanvin.
Just in case you aren't familiar with Jarrars work, here are a few looks from her previous couture collections.
