It's easy to love Hermes. Even easier now when the fashion industry is going through a rough patch filled with collections so identical one would need to look at their labels to know which brand or house they originate from.
Hermes, on the other hand, with its discreet luxury aesthetics, stands on its own. Always has and always will. Their collections are always good, always classy, always out of time and trends, always wearable by women of all shapes and sizes and always, always desirable.
Yes, Hermes "will forever be my always" regardless of times and social status. I love looking at these clothes, the texture of fabrics, the closures that resemble the ones of Hermes bags, the minimal and sculptural jewellery. I enjoy imagining what it would be like to touch the kid leather, softest suede, mink or cashmere. These are all little masterpieces that complete one another in harmony season after season.
It is also a wonderful example that a house does not need to rush, scream of its brilliance and popularity on every corner, hire a hip designer, or lure people in with sales or latest trends. People are not idiots and while many of us may not have a detailed recollection of a certain dress or coat a few months down the line, we will always remember their quality because, lets be honest, this is what really sets pure (and investment-worthy!) style apart from fading fashions.
